The Bribe

Senator, give support for the gambling bill
It will cure our fair State of its financial ill
And you know you can trust a man like me
That it’ll bring no crime increase I will see
But it will greatly enhance the money flow
And as an initial example, why here you go
Your vote or influence I’m not trying to buy
That’s highly illegal and I wouldn’t even try
This is a little extra you can use as you please
I know it’s hard to get by in times like these
And once the bill, into law has been signed
To give to you even more I will be inclined
