The Bravest

THE BRAVEST

the bravest feet

stumble, stop.... again--again--

Dare travel

    treacherous roads--ignore the rain

No thought for honor or for pain

They bypass shortcuts filled with glory

Content to walk a silent story

The bravest feet

There is something magnetic about this posting. I couldn't help but read it. It seems a bit late for Memorial day, but highly appropriate. I enjoyed, very much, the feeling it left. You may want to read "Ballad of Sammy Taylor" that I wrote to honor Memorial Day.... Love ya... Jake
