The Boy In the Deep Dark Woods

We don’t talk about the boy
In the deep dark woods
The one who’s without
A home

We don’t talk about the boy
In the deep dark woods
The villagers simply leave him
Alone

At night you can hear the boy
In the deep dark woods
Crying out, yearning for
A home

At night you can hear the boy
In the deep dark woods
Don’t be fooled, he’s never
Alone

Pray you don’t see the boy
In the deep dark woods
He might think you’re giving Them
A Home

Pray you don’t see the boy
In the deep dark woods
Or else you’ll never again be
Alone

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
