The Boss Is Coming To School Today

The boss is coming to school today. Hooray hooray hooray hooray I used to like him a bunch, I really did. But this year he’s fallen into quite a skid. Being a school counselor has challenges enough. But being assigned to two schools is more than tough. My health is going down, my energy depleted. I am not happy to see him, blaming him as I’m defeated. The boss is coming to school today I might want to stay at home, I truly might. The boss is coming to school today. I do not want to see him, things are not all right. Being a school counselor has paperwork galore. I hate paperwork; it is something I deplore. I never had to do this double work before. He who assigned me this, I’d like to wipe up with the floor.

My original intention to go to college was to be a teacher – on the college level.Talk about overconfidence. But once there I realized it was the wrong profession, given the era of the 60s and the upsidedown world hippies were creating. Glad I had the brains to see that. No regrets. / M

I have to admit, I could barely look at him, and all I said was "hello." I was too miffed to tell him good-bye.
