The Book

Secretive woman,
no longer shy girl,
hidden within,
the layers of a book.
slowly turn the pages,
take it all in,
the pictures don't always tell the story.
the words,
fill in the missing spaces.
write your own lines;
when you reach the end,
add to, improve, gently.
don't try to change the story,
its written in a fabric stronger then stone;
continue the story,
with new characters,
interweiving personas.
once shy girl,
turned to secritive woman,
blooming in her beauty.

turning my pages, ripping the end, skipping to the middle, at last at the end, like a women full of words, change the tittle to any mode, set to a side, store me on a shelf, write and read my secrets, dust me off as I get old, like a diary, only i hold the key to my book, ...(.a little write for you Rain my friend,..p.d.)

Nothing ever stays the same, something is always changing. I love that you said you need to improve and add to it and then added but don't try to change it. Beautiful poem. Love Destiny

A charming beginning to a short story. I think it is in narrative form or prose poetry. As to my verse regarding Alice...I was infuring that the questions found and answered, and the wisdom transmitted by Lewis Carrol was as fitting a source and as relavent to life as the "wisdom" in the bible. It's tiring to hear all reality substansiated by a book written BY and for and of men. I personally find as much wisdom coming from Alice!

You are right Pictures never tell the true story. I do like the idea that only we can finish our own book..Take them out who ever we want to replace. A smooth one. Nice nice , Tace care..p.d.
