From around 2009. This is me in front of one of my wonderful trees blooming in April

The blossoming came a bit early, and April Fool’s Day pulled the sweetest trick. I left my house, and when I got back home, white buds had shown up blooming nice and thick! My pear tree looks its prettiest in April. Although it’s said that flowers come in May, I see so many rainy days in March; then April flowers pop up more each day. I wonder why they say it’s April showers bringing blooms in May because I think it’s rays from sun that shower on my trees in April when they flower white, blue, and pink. Written April 7, 2016 for Anacreontic Verse 3 Contest of Edward Ebbs

There is nothing like the blossoming of the trees and flowers in Spring. Whenever they do it, a miracle every time. Very lovely write.

A lovely poem for the contest Andrea...I passed this one up too. I am caring for Carissa all week while her Mommy is in Reno at meetings and for fun with Kekoa. She just wants my attention and it is very hard to respond online when she is here. Hugs, Connie

I think Ed will appreciate this one. We've had cherry blossoms appear in the last few days. It is quite beautiful.

Beautiful words, Andrea. Your personality shines through expressing your love for the sun ... I've always thought it pretty when the cherry blossom trees dot the grass, coming in waves.

Some or the trees have green buds not but the ones in the park near my home are still bare. Your poem is a celebration of the return of green. Nice job! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

A pretty image Andrea...I could use that sun...I'm heading to the baseball opener in a little bit and it's only 37 outside with a chance for snow...
