The Blessing of Loving You
My eyes shed soft tears as you were sleeping
While you were quietly enjoying your dreams
The peace which was anchored within your face
Made my many soft tears come to life serenely
As you slept my mind began to quietly wonder
If you knew the true value to my life you bring
For without your strength, and amazing wisdom
I wonder without your love where would I now be
Your gift shapes my life effortlessly each day
Like an artist, you diligently complete the task
Molding my heart with lovely embracing hands
As I return to you a treasured love which lasts
My eyes always cherish the moments you rest
For you are beautiful whenever my love you do
While my heart is moved by the joy it feels
As I thank God for the blessing of loving you.
