The Blanket
A light blanket of clouds covers
the sun, and fog drapes the trees
Crispness fills the still September air
rendering a sense of ease
An illuminating sun peeks through
Sleepy eyes lift the blanket
Autumn's touch is welcome here
Ripe pears nature's banquet
