The Birth of Spring - Constanza

April graces us with showers,
As cold snows melt, their wintry scene
Is changed to many shades of green.

From tender shoots, soon, Spring flowers,
Apollo's face is golden fair...
The scent of spring is in the air.

As blossoms float down from bowers
When gusts of April breezes blow,
They spread below like golden snow.

Then in delight I watch for hours,
For truly at this time of year
I feel God's presence dwelling here.

Blessed and touched by divine powers.
The joy of springtime here on Earth
Is felt with every flower's birth.

April graces us with showers,
From tender shoots, soon, Spring flowers,
As blossoms float down from bowers
Then in delight I watch for hours,
Blessed and touched by divine powers.

"Costanza" caught my eye, so I clicked on this poem which comes presented in your own form! I love this form and I will be using it in the near future. The poem itself is elevated by its lovely imagery; nature reflects God's beauty! #7 hugs // paul

Thank you very much Paul. I am dealing with the spring pollens right now. But spring flowers make up for it. I am happy you like my form. Have a great day! Hugs, Connie

Beautiful! I tried your form Connie. I modified the tense in the last stanza so it is not perfect but it does follow the spirit of your form.

Yes! Of all happenings, in springtime we sense the hand of God. Beautiful stuff, Connie. I'm sorry to be so inactive, but the eyesight is very limiting. LOve, daver
