The Big Ol'E Gigantic Wave
Grandpa and I
Went to the beach
One Beautiful summer day
Grandpa went down
To the waters edge
I stayed in the sand to play
Then came a wave
That seemed to roar
Full steam ahead
Right towards the shore
I tried to yell …
I was just a kid…
“Wave, Grandpa, Wave!”
And Grandpa did….
While facing the shore
With his back to the sea
Grandpa smiled
And waved at me!
I still recall
And won’t forget
How that wave
Got Grandpa wet!
