Notes About The Poem

My grieving goes on ~

the bibas family

i see the bibas family….smiling in their
batman pajamas

red headed mother two young sons….
of a fiery hair innocence still

taken in sunlight from their kibbutz….
frightened captive oh for release

shiri kfir ariel yarden….my weeping with
heart asunder

yarden now freed….but where is his gone
precious wife and sons hashem’s ones

I agree those were horrible acts by the enemies of the people of Israel. There is always someone who is out there who will hurt people. Thank you for this work and sharing the information with us. Sara K

Thank you, Sara. Such a vibrant young family, heartbreaking. When I rise each morning part of my prayers are for Israel. I was very touched by your story of your dream about your beloved late husband. Have a mellow and blessed evening.

The Bibas' images haunt me to this day as well.

Hi Gershon, their images are in my mind too. Bereavement always present. I will not forget. Shalom, my friend.

There's so much evil in our world Regina. We can only hope and pray that one day there will be peace in our world. Tom

Yes, Tom, evil will keep going on until Jesus returns. We definitely need to continue to pray. I hope you and your family have a bright & healthy New Year.
