The Bet
We're overwhelmed, insignificant, we gamble ourselves,
We're waiting for, well... anything that will help.
To keep us all impressed and the fallen blessed
even when depressed recall its all a test
we're all upset when we've lost the bet
we all digress when there's nothing left
We're damaged and manage to barely understand it
we're famished with anguish barley speak the language
continue to be obsessed with how we're suppose to dress
containing our interests conforming us to less...
clinging to self-worth the whole time upon this earth
continue to just work, no hopes for a rebirth.
We've created our own chains with no power to ever change
we've been sheltered from the strange blinded by our pain
Yet we still remain.
we can break out of these chains! Teach the world to change!
we can build a better shelter that only keeps out rain.
we can embrace the strange,
we all remain the same, gambling in out brains...
lets help us win the bet, lets help us win the game.
