Good question. It's always hard to lose someone you love, especially a husband. We will never know why until we are reunited in heaven. It's even harder to lose your husband through divorce, and know he no longer needs you or your love. Glenna

This was a painful read, I think of my wife and her pain if I left her behind, but this is an excellent poem precisely because it draws out the emotion. Thank you for sharing this one Carolyn. "Write on good poet." -TimB
