The Bell Tolls

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ horizon dark the n i g h t fills me like still sorrow as birds return to nests from sad sky bringing on their wings the distant music of the drifting clouds from the departing day sinking slow in the horizon I hear in the wind on which floats the chime of a far away bell ringing a soft voice of someone calling that sets me to a journey inward where I find my soul silently asking from behind a shroud mystic for whom the bell tolls for me ?

Ooh…This is wonderful, Subimal! Though it’s a bell, also shaped like a bird with a long neck (what I see anyway). Excellent poem as well!

You're right, Kim. The shape resembles a bird viewed from hind. Thank you for your comments.
