The Beauty of Summer

As days become longer
Warm air blankets our skin
The sky feels more open
Something new is to begin.

What could be anything
Our destiny unknown
In the air is a freshness
New souls will be born.

With each moment singing
It's own unique tune
The open seas lift us up
We become one with the moon.

To laugh, breathe
Love and simply be
The beauty of summer
When we are happy and carefree.

Stopping in again on this lovely summer write...seems we are having an extended summer in the mitten..upper 80s and low 90s whew!...and no cool ocean near the barns haha! Have great week :)

I can never find proper words to express how much I love summer and I always have. Your closing stanza in this fine piece reminds me of my youth and my love of the sun my friend. A7
