The Beauty of Love
Love, a word so small
Yet means so much
In so many different ways
From a smile to a touch.
Of one to another
Whether near or far away
The sound of your voice alone
Can make someone’s day.
Love is the greatest feeling
One can behold
It’s seen everywhere in
Everyone both young and old.
A smile from a child
A nod from an elder
Confirms the acceptance of love
And its performance is stellar!
There’s self love, spiritual love
And emotional love too
But the greatest of them all
Is love from me to you.
Bringing the biggest and brightest
Smiles to our faces
As happiness and joy
Leave their traces.
In our minds, in our hearts
And deep down in our souls
Love bridges the gaps within us
And fills in all the holes.
Making us whole once again
Giving us that sparkle in our eye
Giving us hope as we look
Towards Heaven’s sky.
So no matter how you see it
Whether deep inside or from above
Love is what you make of it
Hence the beauty of love.
