The Beauty Is In the Walking
It's really a marvellous gift to walk
to go wherever moving your two feet
just taking only one step at a time
enjoy all before you that you meet
Think fully of all that's in the walking
the ability in walking is full of grace
hard to find words to describe it's beauty
feeling within a movement all up your face
But destinations cause such interruptions
the flow and energy comes to a stop
this betrays our hopes and our focus
makes one filled with feelings that flop
Always wanting to move on like life
turn the next page of that super book
this is like walking take the next step
while you can before road turns crook
('But the beauty is in the walking; we are betrayed by destinations')
