The Beautiful Meadow

It felt so good to feel young again, felt just like a kid. I began to run through the beautiful green meadow. The elegant sun sent out radiant rays that lit up the entire sky. The fluffy clouds were were few and in between.

I noticed the yellow buttercups were scattered across the meadow, I picked a few and placed them in my bottle of water, so they wouldn't die.

The steep hills were filled with beautiful trees with unbelievable colors this year. Orange, red, green, orange, and yellow leaves spread across the hills, all the way around.

The breeze blew softly through my hair. It felt so refreshing and reviving. I decided to sit down under an apple tree. It left such a sweet aroma in the air. I leaned back against the brown bark and slowly closed my eyes and began to meditate.

I began to meditate on how beautiful heaven would be. I never would ever have to look old anymore. I would be in the best health I ever had been then before. I'd see my grandparents waiting for me at the Pearly Gates next to Jesus, waiting to welcome me home.

I had a hot tear trickle down my face. I had wished for so long, that I was already there sitting next to the crystal sea with my family. There to talk about the good ole days and how we finally reached our destiny.

As I opened my eyes, the sun was beginning to slowly fade below the hills. The skies were beautifully painted. I got up and walked back to my Chevy pickup, and slowly drove back home feeling like I had one of the best days of my life.
