The Beach

The tide's gone out, And off I go, For a walk along the rippled sand. And as I walk I pick up shells, That often ring like tiny bells, The shells sparkle in the sun, As children play, and have fun. My search goes on along the water's edge, And soon I come to rocky ledge.
