The Battle Within

I speak of My God with a heart that's on fire
I speak of My God with a true desire
I speak of My God who has given me life
I speak of My God that only a few will see his light
I speak of My God who has given me faith to dream
I speak of My God with no fear and this I've seen
I speak of My God who I pray to each night
I speak of My God that he will open your eyes bright
I speak of My God that he will take away your fright

For in God we should love and never judge
even for those who mistrust or begrudge.

This was a great contest and helped to open a lot of doors for people. At first I was angry with your poem we had to read first until I read your other poems and knew what you were doing. It was a great idea to bring people to God and to want to fight for your own belief.
