The Battle

The hurt, The lies, Changing my emotion
Cheating, Deception, My mood is an ocean
Swaying slowly back and forth rocking
The shattered remains of my heart locking
In to a vault, storing it away
For you to come and pick up someday
Happiness, Gleefullness, Filled with joy
Until I realized I was just your toy
Cheated, Devestated, Hurt is a fact
I would very much like it if you could retract
That knife in my back which you have placed
Why? and how? Could you lie to my face?
Like a princess, You i treated..
But now? Oh well.. My heart is defeated.

Nice poem, but the hurt don't last forever. God bless. Lucilla
