The Bank
THE BANK
This line is moving so very slow
Few minutes more then I need to go
Everyone’s quiet moving at a snail’s pace
Waiting for the next free lady to stand in front of her face
Noticing each person since I have time to spare
From the man biting his nails to the girl twirling her hair
There’s a couple arguing about how much they should save
Security officers pacing showing us how they’re brave
BOOM! The screams start, just what has transpired?
Was that a shot, in the bank, it can’t be gunfire?
Commotion erupts as managers run with such frowns
Quiet please the yell, let’s all just calm down!
What was that noise we asked coming from behind?
Should we be moving, getting out of this line?
Is it dangerous, is someone robbing the place?
Should we run and hide, just in case?
No, no please stay in line this has gotten out of hand
It was just the cleaning crew, someone dropped a garbage pan!
