The Bangalore I Wish To Live In

The Bangalore that once existed
Had fields of flowers and grass,
But 'Modern era' has now arrived,
And changes invited - Alas!

There were the animals, free and happy,
Just loved by all around.
But now there are things called cages,
Where they all are captured and bound.

The lands and roads were nice and wide,
With pure air - Vitalizing
The ones we have now, are quite the other,
With pollution slowly rising.

The Bangalore I wish we live in,
Should be just like the past,
And if, by chance, it might come true..
I sure hope it does last.

This is lovely and thoughtful, Sneha. Unfortunately many things can never be reverted to their original beauty. // paul

Sneha...this is wonderfully portrayed. Urban blight has indeed ruined the beauty of many of our cities and countries, mine own perhaps at fault for setting the example. Good evening ! --Keith
