The Balloon

The wind gave its life a beginning.
Without the wind, it has no existence.
But the heart of man gave its life a meaning,
it, in turn, gives color to man's persistence.

When it's finally time for it to be free,
its shackles are torn, so it can fly.
It ascends to where eyes can freely see.
It flies high toward the sky.

It soars like a free bird on the horizon,
to where the wind should gust,
yet, the altitude is a threat to its motion,
for, if it goes too high, it will burst.
