The Ballerina
The glossy pink ribbon shone from the stage light.
My feet ache from the pain i am to face everyday,
I feel as if to slowly collapse under the fatigue of my weak frame.
I must keep pushing if i am to be perfect.
My spirit is heavy and I am trying to carry my feet,
if I make a mistake everyone will see.
The music is getting louder and my heart is pounding.
My legs feel torn, the pain i can't bear.
My heart is so heavy i can barley carry it across the stage.
On with the show.
