The Ballerina

The glossy pink ribbon shone from the stage light. My feet ache from the pain i am to face everyday, I feel as if to slowly collapse under the fatigue of my weak frame. I must keep pushing if i am to be perfect. My spirit is heavy and I am trying to carry my feet, if I make a mistake everyone will see. The music is getting louder and my heart is pounding. My legs feel torn, the pain i can't bear. My heart is so heavy i can barley carry it across the stage. On with the show. Jenna Lantz

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
