The Awaken State of Dreaming
The cold stills the darkness of night.
The silence is fragile as thin ice.
A steady pulse slows its rhythm.
Breathing is light as air.
Use your mind to escape your body.
Wander in wonder at the endless possibilities.
The edge of forever is as close as a loved one.
The hands of time covers his eyes.
Here, there is no judgement. Laws do not exist.
There are no confinments, rules, or absolutes.
Freedom is your only moral.
Indecisiveness is your only restraint.
You can walk if you wish, but I rather fly,
and touch the stained glass prism of a kalidascope sky.
You can speak if you want,
but I like to sing in time with the mood that harmony brings.
Stand still if you can, but I want to dance.
In step with the rythmn of love and romance,
and sun on the shore of the Ocean Galore',
just follow your mind if you want to see more.
Like the lips of the horizon that kisses the sun,
or gathering the stars until they are one.
Then throw them towards heaven and see which ones fall.
Or refill then moon until brother wolf calls.
Then hunt with the pack in camoflage black,
or swoop down like the Eagles on the attack.
Feel the thrill of the chase, the wind in your face,
then disappear into thin air without a trace.
But someone is callin, you feel yourself fallin'.
You' re wanting to stay, but you're drifting away.
A kiss on your face, "Are you awake?
You better get up or you're gonna be late."
You lay still for a moment and breath deep.
Your pulse quickens to catch up with the day.
The darkness fades into light.
The sun subdues your subconscious
as time's hands drag you from your dreams.
