The atonement
Jesus died on a wooden cross as
the first sin came from a tree
as this was the initial biblical prophecy
His hands were punctured for
the fruit Eve hand picked
His side pierced for that's where Eve arose from
fully equipped
the adversary tries to destroy
the promises of God
to make a mockery of
what came from His heart
but we know that Jesus's crucifixion
was the atonement for man's sin affliction
His feet were perforated as
Eve's seed crushed the serpent dead
the crown of thorns, the curse of creation
Jesus wore on His head
the cross of death that came from the tree of life
the sacred blood shed the ultimate sacrifice
the adversary trues to destroy
the promises of God
to make a mockery of
what came from His heart
but we know that Jesus's crucifixion
was the atonement for man's sin affliction
Jesus was placed back on the tree
to atone for the first sin
God's self-fulfilling prophecy for mankind to amend
for the judgment following the trespass
brought condemnation
and the free gift of Jesus
became the justification
the adversary tries to destroy
the promises of God
to make a mockery of what came from His heart
but we know that Jesus's crucifixion
was the atonement for man's sin affliction
what the adversary uses to foil
God uses to fulfill
for that which is holy
can never be killed
His hands punctured. His side pierced
His feet perforated
On the tree of life, He died to atone
for the sin man had created
Yes, the adversary tries to destroy
the promises of God
to make a mockery of the love
that came from His heart
But we all know that Jesus's crucifixion
Was the atonement for man's sin affliction
The cross of death that came from the tree of Life
the sacred blood shed
the atonement
the ultimate sacrifice
