The Art of Snow
The Art of Snow
I sit and gaze upon the wintry slope
Inside my aged abode so drab and plain.
Engulfed by white, the blizzard moves along
To lather brilliant bright the creviced roads -
A sparkling path to Heaven on display.
Angelic statues once were naked trees,
But now are blurred as in a Renoir style.
A muted palette paints the lovely scene,
Contrasted by the blue clouds up above.
The snow maintains the beauty coating all,
Into a wonderland of white and blue
Until the cold departs and warmth returns.
