The act of poetry…
I begin with a creative theme
It comes from within like a dream
The act of poetry….
At times it can be an emotional release
And so my rhymes will bring me spiritual peace
The act of poetry….
I make all my stanzas sing,
Refusing to die, is a poetic, diabolical king!
The act of poetry….
There is a metre that formulates inside me
Words, nouns and verbs collaborate in my poetry..
The act of poetry….
Each couplet will stand out from all the rest
Swallowing my pride I must express what’s inside my chest…
The act of poetry….
Has its own melody and is born from within my heart
Such poetry, like a magnificent canvas of art
