The Antagonist of Air

Do not deceive me dear, I have seen death,
Consume the cause of casualties at war.
Believe my blood was born to bleed the breath,
Of life unloved that left lost ones before,
Yet I deceive my life of breath no more.

As I assume this art I ail to ask,
Many to mourn upon my morbid mask,
To kiss colors I cry to paint as art.
Tied down by tears I'm torn unto a task,
Aimless in awe of life and death apart.
