The Agreement

I heard a knock at the door I wasn’t expecting company So I was going to let whomever It was just go away But something inside of me wanted To know who was knocking at my Door at such an early hour The knock sounded like joy My heart was smiling within, and I began to walk towards the door I asked “Who is it?” There was no answer I peeped out of the doors peephole And the porch was filled with light I thought, Oh my goodness what has Happened on the block I opened the door and there stood the Great I Am “Oh please come in” I said We talked and before He left He asked me to follow Him My response “I will” He promised me that anything I asked for in His name would be given to me So I asked for understanding, a clean heart And pure thoughts Instantly I understood my purpose My heart was light and my mind Was renewed The way He left was amazing He moved inside of me Yes The Great I Am Resides Inside Of Me
