The Age of Wisdom

I placed my head between my knees to have a good look at the trees beneath me; I held it there for some time and found that nature was divine. I saw the seeds springing from the earth and an army of ant borrowing through the dirt, they were carrying particles of food on top of their head, meeting and whispering about dead. I feel the breeze blowing around me and the tree limbs shaking violently above me, I could not tell from whence the wind came and why the heavens are always getting the blame. So, I trust my eyes towards the earth to see what was planted into the ground but something shocking was about to reveal how the centrist wore a double heel. I can see what you cannot see, and I can go where you cannot go, it is planted a little above the rough part of your knee with covers mounted on the right side of the hill. It has been there for more than a century; golden plates are nailed up in a box with an inscription on a stone that reads, “I am waiting for you on the other side of the sea”, I will be there until you sign the decree. The age of wisdom is finally here, and it has something profound to share, it is staring you right into your face and the battle of the century is spreading all over the place, the age of reasoning has walked through the door and the controlling factor is asking for more, logics cannot fix the pits but rational can spear you from falling off the cliff. Let me put it this way; you have got to elevate the mountain into the sky and bargain with the earth before you start digging up the dirt. The farmers know when to start planting the seeds and peasants know when to start pulling up weeds. Yesterday I saw you standing naked on the stage with an envelope covering up your private figure, if a woman had done that, she would be blast all over the media and branded as perfect disgrace. But everyone knows that the Oscar was originally designed for men and your naked portraits communicates that message very well, the age of wisdom is running all over the place. The age of wisdom is running out of the ground, and you must take it where destiny is bound, you have got to write the women into the script and make the golden statue with women and men in it. It's hard to break loose with traditions but the age of wisdom will make you into a better human. You have got to test the biology of time to unearth what is beyond the line, get the bulldozer and dig up all the skulls from the mass grave that is the talk of the age. You have one more assignment to complete the task and you have to make haste before the good weather ends.

Dear Christine, Your poem is such a captivating journey through observation and reflection on nature, societal norms, and human behavior. The vivid descriptions of the natural world and the juxtaposition with societal constructs offer a thought-provoking perspective. I love the call for breaking free from tradition and embracing wisdom, which is powerful. Your words inspire contemplation and action. - Loved it!! - Blessings, Daniel
