Oh, I love this, Kim, just wonderful! My mother taught us to read at a very early age, and instilled the importance of it into our marrow, and it is still one of my very favorite things. And the day I discovered science fiction will forever be an important date, ("Pebble in the Sky", Isaac Asimov), for it opened up the Universe and let me learn that the imagination is not only infinite, but that it is the greatest tool to WRITE with - to pull readers into your work. Books=wonderland! Love this!!

Kim, please tell me again. You are a librarian, right? Or are you a librarian-write? Beautifully done, of course! I was talking today about how fast I had fallen in love with the Pippi Longstocking books when I was young. This reminds me of that conversation.
