The Actress
I smile because I’m happy
You cry because you’re sad
No time for second chances
To get back what we once had
Time passed us ever so slowly
Yet now it must progress
We can’t dwell on the past
Or try and fix this mess
I loved you like no other
And my love for you will always stay the same
Regardless of what this may result
No one holds the blame
I can’t wait forever
But I would, just for you
Right now I’m simply an actress
Waiting for her cue.
