The 180
The 180?
2013, January 16
Childish rhymes
from a child's mind
Can one escape oneself
and do a 180?
Bound to live in one body
or perhaps blooming in a thousand minds
Trying to find sense
where there's none to be found
Life, love-
What is and why
Why what?
Why live, why love
When in the end
there's only the void
"It's the journey that matters."
"Right, The journey!"
Why bother speaking
when all you want to know
"Where has the time gone?"
"What time is it?"
"It's time."
"For what?"
"It's time."
All high and mighty
talking about life
when you've just started living it
"Live it first, ask the questions later"
Can't do that, brain is wired awkwardly
cowardly hiding the truth in poetry
"The truth?"
There's to much freedom at will
so we have to ration it
build walls around it
There's so much freedom
one doesn't know where to start
"Start with yourself."
So much, we condition ourselves
into being less of what we are
infinite beings in a finite world
"What makes you infinite?"
Our minds
"Not your soul?"
The soul is an expansion of the mind
a weak mind, a blind soul, a puppet
"Why bother asking, when you
already know the answer, when you
already know what will be written?"
To see if the 180 is possible
to believe that my thinking is rational
"You, who lives in chaos
is born out of it, carries it around
like a trophy
You, feeble minded simpleton...?"
It is I
"I who?"
Me, checking about that 180
