I’ve seen the images on tv Jeff, a brutal winter storm ruining so many lives across the US, as far as the thaw is concerned I hope it comes soon to all those affected, cheers David

Good stuff Jeff I’m delighted it was no more than an inconvenience for your daughter and family, could’ve been so much worse, from what I’ve seen on the news!

It really caught North Alabama by surprise - roads all over the place iced over in minutes, left hundreds, if not thousands, stranded, parking their cars and waking home. Weird! We were happy as clams, inside and warm, but our daughter and family, visiting a friend not far away, had to spend the night with them!
