That's When I Realised

THAT'S WHEN I REALISED

As I saw I'm different
As I saw I'm hated
As I saw I'm unwanted
Not loved
Not cared for
I was my own parent
At home where I thought I was a child I was just a servant
Breakfast cooker
Lunch cooker
Supper cooker
Dish washer
Clothes washer
I just had to do it all
Laughed at when I fall
THAT'S WHEN I REALISED,
I'm an outsider
I was eating,
Sleeping
And guarding
At night with the dogs
All that was left was for me to bark
Just like them
Because I lived like them
It hurts to be aborted.
Oh by the way,
THAT'S WHEN I REALISED I WAS ABORTED.
