That's All There Is To Say
I don’t need to count my blessings
I don’t need to ask for more
Jesus made the promise
He would knock upon the door
All I did was answer
He washed my sins away
He’s my Lord and Savior
That’s all there is to say
I played Baseball with my Sons
Walked my daughters down the aisle
Married the woman I loved
Got to see my Grandkids smile
Got to taste my wife’s cooking
Got to walk in the rain
I watched puppies being born
I even rode upon a train
I saw Majestic Mountains
Fished in sparkling streams
Walked under the starry skies
Got to dream the poet’s dream
I got to swim in the ocean
Got to see a gorgeous sky
Went to sleep in the green, green grass
Among the butterflies
These things are all wonderful
In this world that Jesus made
And I would keep on loving them
If I was going to stay
But I’m gonna go to Heaven
And sing with the saints all day
He’s my Lord and Savior
That’s all there is to say!
