That Very Day
I've heard stories about you time and time again
I've always wanted to know would we ever be close like friends
I can't talk to you through a photo, the frame or the glass
i want to talk to you in person but that would effect the past
Grandma i never met you but i thought about the day
And the things you would say when you laid your eyes on me
The good times we would have and the laughs that we would love
I believe you are one of God's angels from above
In heaven we will meet in the air and embrace
have many moments that on earth didn't take place
Your kids say they love you and will see you again one day
Grandma take it easy because when i'm gone from here
and on to my final resting place just know that i'm on my way
to see you that very day
