That Special Person

She smells like roses
And dandelions in the garden
Her personality is sweet
If only she was my darling

I could treat her with gifts
Like any man should
Talking about the ways of life
Only if she would

I will be a waiting shoulder
To cry on in times of pain
If you get in trouble
You'll know I'll take the blame

But my special person
If I happen to meet you
I will finally believe
love is true

Stopping by to say hello and let you I enjoyed reading your poetry today Orlando. I am in the process of packing up to move in a couple weeks so not much time for one on one. I will be stopping by when I can. Have a wonderful weekend and keep your pen flowing. Love and blessings, Carol
