That Single Night

All I could do was walk that night
Tarnished wind and freezing cold water
The only thing I could do is retreat
Run to that heavenly place where I felt safe
As I thought of all the good things in my past
Time is fading away and I knew I could not last
I felt like a puppet I could only go one way
My life that I was pretending felt like a play
The only great thing in life that I can say
Is that I became friends with Thomas and Rene'...
