That September Day
That September Day
The terrorists sneaked into our country that September morn,
This nasty, dirty, cowardly act will always be scorned.
The act they carried out was to murder our friends,
Our nation’s mourning still transcends.
These cowards, for a moment, knocked the U.S. to the ground,
But let me tell you that our great country really came around.
Many lives were destroyed with pain that day,
We citizens learned once again how to pray.
Our God would not send us to do such a terrible thing,
That is why to each memory we must always cling.
The people who did this are burning in hell,
With their miserable lives this is where they chose to dwell.
The seventy two virgins they will never see,
The burning heat will not allow them to plea.
God cannot hear them because of their sin,
They will burn forever, they cannot win.
God bless America, the land of the free,
Thanks to these brave people who did not flee.
God bless these people as they made their stand,
Their voices are still ringing throughout the land.
