That Power Within You
Strengthy comes in many forms
something that moves one within
to reach heights before unsurpassed
this if successful would make a spin
Strength I have known in my life
given the capacity to raise the norm
having within my inner self to touch
a force that feels like a mighty storm
Needing a determination so excellent
one which perseveres to your end
refusing never giving up in life
as you search for your perfect blend
All of my life words been so difficult
a stammer that held progress back
at school, work socially feels inadequate
my spirit spoke up to go on to attack
So real inner strength been my power
never giving up when often felt like it
this power has been heaven sent
rolling me along for what's been meant
