That Place of Light
"That Place of Light"
empty halls
long with tall stories
missing spines
lead you onwards
towards the inner sanctum
where the heart on fire
for something much more
burns a warming lux chord
for you to hold onto
heaven comes in many forms
in the great halls of archives
there you’ll find me waiting
for you, your pages turning
front and centre inner sanctum
back-of-house light forms
studying your every move
there is no dark judgement here
yet you are reviewed
your story
of light and dark
both necessary shadows
irrespective of what is
good and bad
never ends,
your journey
not null and void
through your own choice
in one form
or
another
continues
