That Other Guy

I had a conversation, just the other day, with someone really close to me, who it was I couldn't say! I did most the talkin', he just nods his head, cause he was in agreement, with everything I said! I talked about the weather, sports and friends and such. People that I liked a lot, and those I disliked, very much! I mentioned my accomplishments, and places where I'd been. Some happy and some sad times, and things I'd like to do again! How successful, were my children, how happy was my life. Which mainly, I attribute, to my dear, departed wife! That other guy kept noddin', and agreed with what I said! Then suddenly, I realized, I was lying in my bed! Turns out, this conversation, was just a dream, you see! As I awoke, I became aware, that other guy, was "ME"! Ralph Taylor 01/19/18
