That One Day
One day your smile will no longer be vibrant
But I will try to overlay it with a kiss that reminds
If caring eyes will turn out to be an empty stare
Then I will tell a story to start a flare
Your hands that hold the molds of purity
Your legacy will hold us in a binding unity
We are the closest of your resemblance
But that clasp so binding now a fading remembrance
That one day your breath chasing the shadow of time
Then I will hold you so close to breathe out my rhyme
I know that moment will launch aeonian regrets
It is hard to let go, it will be uneasy to forget
That one day I pray to be my day instead
For in heaven there’s another life ahead
If heaven will decide, I will abide
I pray that day will be a swift light slide
