That I May Know Christ and the Fellowship of His Suffering

"That I may know Christ and the
 fellowship of his suffering."
Is a verse that's not always
 the most comforting.

"I must suffer for Christ and
taste of the bitter cup."
An appetite for his holiness
must fill my life up!

I really don't know what it
means to suffer for him.
I've been living a life filled with
defeat and sin.

I want to know what it really
means to endure.
I must read his word which
is true and secure.

Only in you Lord... will I know
life's true meaning.
As your Spirit in my life becomes
more revealing.

I love you Jesus much more
than words could express
When it comes to your love...
 I won't settle for less!

You have given me hope
 deep with my being!
And have blessed me...
You're my everything!

Thank you for the work in me
 I know you'll do.
I want you to know,
How much I love you!
