That Golden Age To Come

The victory shall be glorious,
for I've read the end of the Book.
There, we are claimed victorious,
rejoice as you take a look.

There is coming a time very soon
when the lion shall lie down with the lamb.
God's children shall know peace without end
as they worship the great I Am.

Sons and daughters of Righteousness,
we are all clothed from on high.
There is never any battle here
we shall not win before we die.

Yet, we look forward to that coming rest
in that golden age to come
where every evil that has ever been
we are eternally delivered from.

Douglas, I believe you are correct in observing that soon "the lion shall lie down with the lamb." I, too, pray for an end to war. The toll it takes is too great to bear. Wonderful, creativity in this piece! Love, Carolyn
