That Girl
A girl in red walks by my window
I get up, which way did she go
Her flirty look, her stylish hair
Out for a walk, without a care
The sun is out, the weather warm
Should I talk to her, simple, no harm
I get closer, I want to ask but I wait
Realizing I know her I hesitate
Could it be, my old love, here, now
She turns to see me, her reaction, wow
So much time since, old feelings rush
She embraces me, I feel my heart crush
Can’t talk long, have to run off quick
Her soft lips touch my cheek, again lovesick
In a flash, memories of her flood back you see
She walks away, not realizing what she has done to me
