That Black Cloud

That Black Cloud As my eyes first open, the first thing that i see, Not a ray of light in sight, this black cloud follows me, I wipe the sleep from me eyes, and try to get my day going, But that black cloud makes it hard, to keep the tears from flowing, I think if i go back to sleep, maybe it will drown my misery, Simply try to hide my thoughts, But that black clouds always listening, So i clean myself up, get going on my alienated campaign, Try to think of happy thoughts, Can't come up with a damn thing, That black cloud still follows, staring me down every turn, There is no escaping it, it seems i never learn, Before i even realize, the day is almost done, Only a few blinks of my eyes, since it has begun, That black cloud is just eating my time, has become so abusive, Then i wonder why i sit up sleepless feeling so reclusive, As i rest my eyes shut at night, the last thing that i see, Not a star in the sky, this black cloud follows me
